Companies like Airbnb and Uber figured out how to use spare bedrooms and personal cars more productively — we can do the same for big issues like economic inclusion and addiction recovery.
At its core, Uncap is about exactly this: unlocking the potential of community resources to solve our toughest problems. Public problems (e.g., housing, transportation, poverty, crime, education, and addiction) are complex issues that sometimes feel insurmountable. By connecting resources, ideas, and people across the tech, venture, healthcare, and public sector communities, we can bring new solutions to some of society’s toughest problems.
